Her parents followed Blackspear to Hidden River Holt. When Grouf and Uelaen Recognized, everyone guessed it would be a terrible relationship. Grouf is a typical Go-Back: tough, rough and carefree, and Uelaen's calm and gentle nature didn't seem to fit her at all. But to everyone's surprise, they learned to love each other passionately. Aira lived a happy childhood. She got her mother's hair, build and personality and her father's eyes, gliding magic and talking skills: Uelaen always had the last word in his and Grouf's fights. As a youth, Aira believed she could turn her back on every problem by flying away. Grouf thought this was terrible, and finally Aira learned to face her problems. She changed her name to Upwind, inspired by the Wolfriders names, and about ten turns ago her parents decided to go off to wander. |
