Born of recognition between Goldenoak and Longshot he was born before their differences were settled. The pair still walking softly around each other because his sire had a temper and Goldenoak had not yet learned to hold her tongue about what the hunter could do with his anger. Sometime during his young adult years the pair finally settled their differences and became lifemates. Life was fairly good for the young hunter, lots of learning experiences and nothing to really stop him until the day he did something rather stupid and the Chieftess cuffed his ears in front of the tribe. His father later repeated the cuffing and with two lectures that day he changed his ways. Becoming the quiet, well trained shot he is today. He keeps primarily to himself and his hunting, he knows his place and keeps it, seeing no reason to challenge the chieftess. Should he, he probably would because that is the Way; but he doesn't, and so he doesn't. In the past few turns his hidden love has come forth and now he is lifemated to the one who has held his heart for longer than even he knew. |
